Harding Shelton Group (HSG) was established in 2009, as a distinctive partnership between two highly experienced oil and gas exploration and production companies offering technical expertise, rich business experience, and strategic relationships. In winter 2011, Harding and Shelton, Inc. of Oklahoma City, OK withdrew from the partnership to focus on other business pursuits.
Continuing to move forward in HSG’s pursuits in China is Harding Energy Partners, LLC (HE Partners), a unique partnership which provides an unparalleled continuum of talents, experience and opportunities in all aspect of oil and gas exploration, production, marketing and investor relations. Among the partners’ most recent successes are their activities in the prolific Barnett Shale natural gas play in North Central Texas, in the USA. Upon the successful leasing of mineral rights totaling tens of thousands of acres, the team drilled successful gas wells and developed gas marketing opportunities for Harding Company and its partner, ExxonMobil.
These eight individuals, companies and their partners share a business philosophy of hard work, fairness, truthfulness and environmental stewardship. They approach each project with “out-of-the-box” thinking and utilize their collective analytical skills and expertise to develop and execute a plan for success. Joining in the winter of 2011 is Wenwu Xia, as a principal. He has been with HSG since its inception, having been an employee of Harding & Shelton.
